    Our walk-in store has been in Shartlesville,Pa since 1953. We have been selling Pa dutch and Amish gifts since then.


    What shipping method do you use?

     For  all items  we  tape up your package for shipping protection and we use USPS. We also use flat rate boxes from the USPS for heavy items or for samplers. We also ship our hex signs in custom made boxes.

     

     


    If I was in your store in Shartlesville and I forgot to buy something could I buy it online?

    YES!! all you have to do is email us at dutchgifthaus@yahoo.com or call our # at 610 488 6529 10 am to 4 pm east and tell us what you like to have shipped. We will get it checked for shipping cost if it is not an item we have here online. Then we will get back to you. We won't ship any food that is in a glass jar. Anything else we could ship for you.


    If i bought something that was not on the online store how will I pay for it?

    You could send a money order and a phone # to reach you.When we get the money order we will let you know and we will ship the item.


    Can prices change day by day?

     YES Prices are subject to change without Notice! and the web site is always being checked and  updated.


    Do you offer shipping insurance for my order?

    At this time no, but we ship priority so everything should come depending on location 3 - 5 days.


    Do you offer gift wrapping?

    YES!! we will wrap your order if you like. Right now we will choose the paper that an item would be wrapped in. Later we will post paper options for you. For any event we will wrap and make it nice for that special someone. It is a great thing for birthdays, holidays, special events and just to make someone happy. We are able to make special wrapping orders because we ship our orders from our shop in Shartlesville, not drop shipped from some distant warehouse. To let us know what items you want  to be wrapped you can either email us or call 610 488 6529 and talk directly to someone. Call during 10 to 4 eastern time everyday.


    How do you handle items that are ordered and we are then informed that the item is out of stock?

    When things get back ordered do to our stock being that its only in the walk in-store, we immediately call our supplier to get your item. Since our store gets walk in customers, items could get sold between the  web site up dates and items are not always changed when an item was bought on line.Do to possible shipping delays it could be a little long until we receive the item, but we will always inform you about your order and when the order was shipped. We understand how important is to keep you informed so you are not concerned about getting the item later than normal shipping time we state.  We apologize for the inconvenience but we work with you  to give you GREAT SERVICE. 


    What if the item I get shipped to me is not what I ordered what happens?

    Since there are some times when  items could be shipped wrong, let us know of the mix up and we will gladly ship your right item for you.
